Precautions for using plate shears

Plate shearing machine is a kind of shearing equipment widely used in machining. It can shear steel plate materials of various thickness. The commonly used plate shears are divided into flat shear, rolling shear vibrating shear. Flat shears are widely used. The thickness of mechanical transmission shear is more than 10 mm. Generally, single continuous metal cutting is carried out by pedal button control. Attention should be paid to the following when operating the plate shears:

1. Before working, carefully check whether all parts of the shear are normal, whether the electrical equipment is in good condition, whether the lubrication system is smooth; remove the sundries such as tools, measuring tools other wastes placed on the table surface around it.

2. Do operate the plate shears by one person alone. It is necessary for 2-3 persons to coordinate the feeding, dimensional accuracy control reclaiming, one person shall be responsible for unified command.

3. Adjust the scissors clearance of the shear according to the specified thickness of the shear. It is allowed to shear two kinds of different specifications materials at the same time; it is allowed to stack shear. The surface of the sheared sheet metal is required to be flat, the narrow sheet that cannot be compressed is allowed to be cut.

4. The belt, flywheel, gear shaft of the shear must be equipped with protective cover.

5. The distance between the fingers of the shearer operator the scissor mouth should be kept at least 200 mm away the scissors mouth, away the pressing device. The protective fence placed on the trigger can block the operator's eyes can see the cutting part. The waste generated after operation has edges corners, the operator should remove it in time to prevent being stabbed cut.

6. The flywheel, gear, shaft, belt other moving parts of the shear should be equipped with protective cover.

7. Place a fence to prevent the operator's hands entering the area the scissors fall. It is strictly forbidden to pick up the waste materials on the ground when working, so as to avoid being injured by falling workpieces.

8. It is allowed to cut the quenched material, nor is it allowed to cut beyond the working capacity of the shearing machine.
