What is a shearer

Shearing machine is a kind of mechanical equipment used in steel rolling workshop to cut the corner, tail, head length of steel.

The shearing machine in medium plate workshop is used to cut steel plate. According to the shape of cutting edge, it can be divided into two types

(1) Shearing machine with inclined cutting edge: it is used to cut the longitudinal edge, head tail of steel plate for smelting hot cutting, for cutting sizing.

(2) Disc shearer: used for longitudinal cutting of steel plate side cutting of steel plate.
